Located in Pasco County, this wonderful small town is situated next to Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club and Saint Leo. The roots of San Antonio are firmly planted with family and country living, and a strong sense of community centered around San Antonio's Town Square. Founded in 1881, San Antonio is proud of its City Park located in the scenic “Town Square”. The city also maintains McMullen Park, on the shore of Lake Jovita. The city is growing, yet a small town atmosphere prevails.The municipality is largely governed by elected officials who volunteer their time to improve the quality of life in San Antonio. |

San Antonio is the home of Florida's annual Rattlesnake Festival.
You will also find The Historic Atlantic Coastline Depot in San Antonio. It is the last one remaining on the Orange Belt Railway which crossed Pasco County in 1888 to connect the St. Johns with the Gulf. The Seaboard Coast Line had its last scheduled service here in 1972. The tracks were removed in 1978, and volunteers restored the depot for community use in 1993.
